Update!!

Loving my body fit media armband!! It I'm a numbers girl- and highly goal oriented... So it's REALLY pushing me to get in more steps... To burn my calorie goal for the day... And to eat within my calorie allotment goal for the day!! Yes!! Awesome find!!

Day 45- body media arm band!!

Today has been my first day using Jillian's armband and program!! I love it!! It's just the tool I need to help keep my nutrition realistically inline with my actual calories burned throughout the day!! Go me!!

Day 44- last day of vacation!!

Day 42- tears...

Today I met up with my youngest daughter in kansas on her way to Ohio since she is leaving home.... And all I can do, is cry....

Day 41- wedding day!!

Vacation continues!! I feel like I did pretty well all in all with the nutrition during the day and the wedding wasn't a massacre!! Success!!

Day 40-1st day of mini vacation!!

I traveled the middle of the road- and I'm proud of myself for that!! I don't want to be a total pig of an eater while we are enjoying our trip... But I don't want to reign it in so tight that I end up resenting that and completely blowing it when we get back!!! So I call today a success!!!! (blogged the day after... Ha!!)

Day 38- steadfast..

I'm staying VERY steadfast in my workouts and nutrition right up to vacation time!! It will only be 4 days that we are away from our usual habits... I'm going to enjoy myself a bit by loosening up on calories a bit... And will have to work out when and how I can for these 4 days... So I'm sticking with the plan up to the last minute and will be jumping on it again when we get back!!

There is no set magic number, I suppose- as to the amount of calories I should be aiming to burn each workout.... But if there were- I think I've come as close as one could get in finding it! 600!!!!!

Day 35- toe to toe...

I went to the rec center for my workout today- and with all the muscle guys there lifting- I have to say, I was able to go toe to toe with most of them!! Yes!!! Go me!! I'm feeling strong and seeing that they were looking at the unique things that I was doing and learning from ME made this girl one happy happy gal!!

Day 32- people are starting to notice!!

Yes yes yes!!! It is so validating to have others, especially those you work with each week that see you that often, start to comment on your body changes!!! I've noticed them myself... But it helps to hear it!!

Day 31- no cheating!

I have to agree with the picture for today... You just CANNOT be cheating on your program- food OR workouts... Cause then it just doesn't work!! That... And you're only cheating yourself because the truth of the amount of effort that you are or are not putting in will be obvious... To you and to everyone else.. So just do it!!

Day 30- unstoppable determination!!

I'm on one hell of a roll!!! I find myself extra vigilant now!! The more success I feel happening with body changes- the more I'm into sticking to my guns!!
Only 11 more days till I get to reveal my sexy vacation clothes to the hubby that's never seen them at all- much less on this increasingly hot body!!

Day 29- modification

Decided to keep up the 1 1/2 workouts now that I've had to baby my post op shoulder by avoiding the quicker movements and shoulder intensive work in the videos. I've went to full body weight workouts twice weekly and twice weekly cardio sessions each week... 1 1/2 hours each- which helps make up for not getting in a formal long workout on my 12 hour work days. I've incorporated lots of resistance training into work days to help things along... And it all seems to be working!!! Weigh in day is not till Thursday- but the way my clothes fit continue to change!! Goes to show you that even when life tries to get I'm the way- you modify, but NOT quit!!

Day 28- rejuvenated!!!

I feel nearly reborn!! Went to the gym with my baby love today and did a full body resistance training workout and 1/2 hour total on the treadmill!! Felt good to do the moves at my own slower pace so that I could increase the amount I could lift!! Gotta build that calorie burning muscle!!
The best part??? Having the hubby there to feed off of his energy and do some new moves with him that he put me through!! Yes!! Good day!! Indeed!!!

Day 27- on a roll!!

Posting a day late... Long work day and commute yesterday .. Then I was more interested in the Irishman than blogging!! Ha!!
So I can honestly say that I've been an ANGEL lately!! I even turned down nurse deb's fresh baked peanut butter m n m cookies!! Now THAT is willpower!!!
I had to dig in my heels and stop making each day a treat day instead of the Sunday treat meal and dessert only!! I usually fall down real bad on work days with the chocolate intake- but I've kept that MORE than reasonable and made sure it fit into my daily calorie budget!!
